DIRECTORY INFORMATION

For many years the Waukesha Kennel Club, Inc. has maintained a 24-hour Breed Directory Referral Service. This is accomplished by means of an answering service which is listed in the telephone directory. (800.236.2074) Callers are referred to breeders and breed clubs listed in the Directory, which is published yearly and distributed with the catalog at the Waukesha Kennel Club summer shows and sent to approximately 400 veterinarians, groomers and pet supply outlets in the Greater Milwaukee area. Listings are arranged alphabetically by breed and include breeders and breed clubs (see Breed Directory);  Veterinarians, professional handlers, boarding, grooming and other related dog services (see Services); and obedience training (see Classes.)  One must be a member of an AKC all-breed or specialty club or be sponsored by a member of Waukesha Kennel Club to be eligible for a listing in the Breed Directory. Any verified rescue organization is listed free. Please let us know if your club has rescue.

Waukesha Kennel Club, Inc. will screen all applications for listing in Breed Directory. Persons using this Directory, with the interest in purchasing a dog, should recognize that we can in no way guarantee that everyone listed in this Directory will live up to your standards. You should visit the breeder and view their dogs before making any decision on a purchase.

Listings may be added to the web site at any time during the year. The deadline for the next printed Directory is July 1, 2006.
